MTM5200: TETRA in the car, with a 13-watt speaker
Vehicle-mounted TETRA station: GPS, AES128/256 encryption, USB 2.0 PEI interface for connecting external systems, VGA 2.8 inch screen, 13 W speaker, TEDS support and work in TMO and DMO modes. The body is mounted in DIN-A.
Why 13 watts on the speaker
For the cabin of the truck, diesel locomotive and special equipment, where the background noise covers the usual car speaker. In TETRA, it is accepted that the call must be heard the first time - hence the volume margin, and a separate speaker removal during installation.
What are TEDS and PEI?
TEDS is an advanced data transfer mode: it is needed when not only voice and coordinates go on the radio network, but also application forms, photos, telemetry. PEI via USB is a standard way to give the station power to the onboard computer or control software, so that calls and statuses are put programmatically, not with hands.
Installation in DIN-A
A standard car shaft means that the station stands in the place of the tape recorders - it is convenient for service transport. power supply is started directly from the battery through the fuse, the antenna is carried out on the roof, the GPS antenna should see the sky. With 24V, you need a converter.
Handheld
In the same system, it works. MTP6550Same groups, same encryption, same direct DMO mode to work outside the network. If the task does not require TETRA, a comparable mobile station will give DM4401 DMR.
Station pickup
Here everything is decided by the station model: connectors, mounts and landing dimensions in the series are different, and the detail from the neighboring series will not stand up.
