Who's on 27 MHz today?
Truckers, columns of special equipment, country and hunting companies, drivers who need to hear the situation on the track. Traditionally, on Channel 15 in Russia, road communication is a living source of information about congestion and posts, which is not in any navigator.
27 MHz is different from VHF and UHF
The long wave travels further along the open track and better bypasses the relief. Instead, a large antenna: a full-size 27 MHz has a length of about two and a half meters, the shortened one works worse, but more real in installation. The interference in this range is noticeably greater: the ether is common and is not distributed by anyone.
Installation solves almost everything
On CBC, eighty percent of the quality of communication is determined by the antenna and its setting by the CSV, not the station itself. Put the antenna on the center of the roof, make a normal "mass", be sure to check the CSV after installation - work on an unconfigured antenna spoils the output cascade.
